Creating Free Markets

I've narrowed down the scope of my launch plans. I plan to make a tool similar to what wikipedia offers -- though instead of being based around articles of "what", Panamantis will include the "how". Articles will be in the form of market pods (which can be the assumed structure of an organization, an idea, person or conceptual market). A key design point is keeping the structure separate from the layers of data and news that will flow through the dynamic structure.

Though for now, it's off to Halifax for some vacationing!

Deployment plans

I've cleared my schedule and am ready to launch into the development of Panamantis. One of the first upgrades will be the website www.panamantis.com, as I plan to migrate it to a proper and scalable web server.

The second challenge these days has been preparing my 'mobile office' - details to follow.

Concept - subject explorer

It seems as though there are a load of ontologies/frameworks already defining most subjects in the world. Here's one example from the Structured Dynamics website. Type in any 'thing'...then click to move to a more broad or narrow connection:

Think of it as a framework or "world view"...that can then have data layered over it:

There are hundreds of these 'framworks'/ontologies that are available and free...interesting. ie/ Consider one with 6000 nodes that describes a community (warning big):

While these are all necessary, the details are very distracting. Consider instead, my implementation of a generic 'pod'. This can describe the actions carried out by any subject by adding complexity in layers.
